paul mukran (civil name: stefan bauer), born 1959. lives and works in potsdam, germany. cares to make see the unnoticed with his subjective photography. what we tend to miss or do not see at first glance, might turn out to be something of importance or something very different when you look closer into the matter. that is what mukran has learned throughout his professional career and, in short, this experience also explains his approach to photography.
certified as a photo designer (ILS hamburg, germany) and with his further education in a one year part-time program on visual storytelling at International center of photography (ICP) in new york, mukran has started to work as a photographer in his preferred field of subjective photography. also, he finds special interest in documentary environmental photography. other fields of his work range from land- and cityscapes and architecture to street scenes.
